Even a little help
goes a long way

As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of our graduation from Spelman College, we, the Class of ’74, believe that women – and especially our young sisters, will play a vital role in bringing about the change that will transform the world into a better place.  That’s why we’re asking you to join us in reaching back and helping the bright young Spelman women step out into the world ready as leaders and arbiters for good. Women for Golden Futures is an impact group of phenomenal women from all walks of life (many are Spelman alumnae, but many are not) who give of themselves and their resources to help and uplift the generations behind us – after all, our future is in their hands.

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE AND SCHOLARSHIPS

Each year many students’ college education is threatened by unforeseen circumstances and hardships. Our goal is to help these young women by providing financial assistance to cover urgent needs like transportation, housing, food, technology equipment, books, medical attention, childcare, and fees through the Student Support Fund. The college works diligently to secure funding to provide this emergency assistance. We want to ensure that this fund never runs dry.

Your generosity will also help us keep deserving young women in the classroom and thriving with the aid of scholarships. Each year since 2018, the Class of ’74 has underwritten scholarship awards given by the college to help defray tuition expenses. The selection criteria are simple – need and the desire to make an impact on the world as we know it.

YOUR GIFT WILL SUPPPORT THE TALENT AND DREAMS OF THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS, THINKERS AND DOERS. JOIN US.

Together we can help young women stay in school and focused on the future and a better tomorrow.

Founder & CEO PreCise Information Systems & Professional Services

"When Black women succeed, we all win. We’re impacting change throughout our communities, in our workplaces, in board rooms, in the halls of power, in science and the arts. We occupy so many spaces and move through the world purposefully and with intention.

As a Black woman in business, I have been sustained and supported by a circle of friends and mentors who gave me the wings to fly. It’s why I’m personally affirming the voices, dreams and ambitions of these young Spelman women. And, while I’m not an alumna, I’m investing in a bright future for us all.”
